In a Google hangout last Friday, de Blasio confirmed his commitment to the ban: "We expect action on it this year."<br /><br />One problem that the mayor might face is that a majority of New Yorkers disagree with him. The latest Quinnipiac poll shows that 64 percent of New Yorkers support the horse carriages. <br /><br />Luckily for the horses, Liam Neeson is on the case.
