ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br /> <br />EDITORS PLEASE NOTE THIS EDIT CONTAINS MATERIAL THAT WAS ORIGINALLY 4:3<br /> <br />STORY: A bomb exploded near a police vehicle at a crowded marketplace, killing at least three people and wounding 30 others in Charsadda town in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday (April 22), local media reported.<br /> <br />Police said the explosive material was planted on a motorcycle and the police patrol van was the primary target.<br /> <br />The bomb was detonated when the police vehicle, carrying some 13 personnel, drove past near the motorbike.<br /> <br />The injured were brought to District Headquarters Hospital while those in critical condition were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.<br /> <br />Charsadda is a district located in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
