Director finds the humor in the Israeli army

The life of female Israeli soldiers gets a humorous twist in the new film "Zero Motivation," which made its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.<br/> <br />Israeli writer and director Talya Lavie said she got the idea for the movie after completing her mandatory military service.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Talya Lavie, writer and director, saying (English):<br/> <br />"I thought it would be really funny to do one of those epic war films but about - I mean epic military films but about, you know, us girls in the office. So actually it started from something I was amused by and only later on when I worked on it I saw - I went deeper into other aspects of it. Other social aspects in it.
