Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is to begin his community service next week.<br /><br />The 77-year-old media tycoon must spend four hours a week working at an old people’s home in Milan as part of a one-year tax fraud sentence.<br /><br />After completing the first six months the sentence will automatically be reduced to 10 months.<br /><br />The court ruling also limits Berlusconi’s movements to the Lombardy region but allows him to travel to Rome weekly and does not restrict his political activity.
