The 2014 Virginia High School League State Debate Tournament was held at Liberty University. <br /> <br />The resolution for the tournament was "Resolved: Prioritizing economic development over environmental protection is in the best interest of the people of India." <br /> <br />Godwin LR took the affirmative position, while John Handley PS took the negative position on the resolution. There were three judges for the round. <br /> <br />Godwin LR won the round on a 2-1 decision.
