Fires in Rio de Janeiro burned on Monday night as violence engulfed parts of Brazil's second largest city.<br/> <br />In one massive slum complex, police clashed with suspected drug traffickers and vandals set fire to city buses.<br/> <br />The clashes included a shoot out where police fired tear gas to contain the violence.<br/> <br />One man was wounded and several arrests were made.<br/> <br />Monday's unrest comes one week after violence erupted in Rio's famous Copacabana neighborhood.<br/> <br />But it's also just weeks before the start of the soccer World Cup.<br/> <br />That's when Rio and 11 other Brazilian cities will host hundreds of thousands of tourists for the major event.
