Actor Bob Hoskins dead at age 71

British actor Bob Hoskins has died after a bout of pneumonia. He was 71.<br /> <br />The gravelly-voiced actor shot to stardom in the 80's, as a mobster in the film "The Long Good Friday."<br /> <br />In 1987, Hoskins received an Oscar nomination for his role in the film "Mona Lisa" and won a Golden Globe.<br /> <br />His big Hollywood break came in 1988, when he played Eddie Valiant in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." He received a Golden Globe nod for the role.<br /> <br />He starred alongside Jet Li in the 2005 film "Danny the Dog."<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTOR, BOB HOSKINS, SAYING:<br /> <br />"Well at the moment, my only experience working with Jet [Li] is been beating up by him. I'm hoping that's going to improve.
