These protesters turned out in Washington D.C. to draw attention to the kidnapping of more than 200 schoolgirls in Nigeria nearly two weeks ago.<br/> <br />They gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial to demand more action to find the girls thought to have been kidnapped by Islamist Boko Haram militants.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(English) FARIDAH HABIB, RALLY ATTENDEE, SAYING:<br/> <br />"I have a sister who's 16 and she goes to secondary school in Nigeria and she's in boarding school so I imagine if that was my sister and what I know, what would happen, how I would feel."<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(English) QUEST DEW, RALLY ATTENDEE, SAYING:<br/> <br />"This should have been all over the press in every capacity, just as much as the flight, just as much as everything that's happening in the Ukraine."<br/> <br />U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry added his voice to international condemnation of the kidnapping as he addressed a youth conference in Ethiopia.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(English) U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY SAY
