Egypt adjourns journalist trial

Three journalists from the Qatari Al Jazeera television network appear before an Egyptian court on terrorism-related charges.<br /> <br />Their appearance on Saturday was short-lived as the judge put back their trial until May 15th.<br /> <br />All three, an Egyptian, an Egyptian-Canadian and an Australian, are charged with aiding members of a terrorist organisation.<br /> <br />That's a reference to the Muslim Brotherhood, main backers of ousted President Mohamed Mursi.<br /> <br />Advocates for the journalists say Al Jazeera's being targeted because Egypt accuses Qatar supporting Mursi.<br /> <br />Outside the court the brother of Australian defendant Peter Greste expressed frustration that he's still detained.<br /> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(English) ANDREW GRESTE, PETER GRESTE'S BROTHER, SAYING:<br /> <br />"I guess it's ironic that we're here in court for Peter's trial on World Press Freedom Day.
