The Eurovision song contest was created in the 1950s - as a way to bring Europe's countries together, for a fun live TV event.<br /><br />That hope for peace is especially important this year - with Ukraine and Russia facing off, in the semi final.<br /><br />Alex Forrest reports from host city Copenhagen.
