Pakistani starlet Veena Malik on Thursday said that she has realised that the country needs her and she is working towards providing people with “basic human rights”, Express News reported. <br />Veena was addressing a press conference along with her Dubai-based husband Asad Basheer Khan Khattak. <br />During the course of the press conference, Veena spoke about her ambitions to build a hospital. <br />“I not only want to build a hospital, I want to work towards women’s and children’s empowerment as well,” she said. <br />Speaking about her return to the film industry she said: “I will only contribute to films that promote nationalism.” <br />Veena also added that she was glad to have Asad in her life and shared that the two of them have a lot of mutual interests. <br />Speaking about her interest in politics, she said that one day she hopes to join a party that has a “vision”, adding that she “always admired Imran Khan’s goal and ambitions”.
