Veteran Spanish crooner Julio Iglesias was presented with an award to honour a career that has spanned nearly half a century and seen him sell over 300 million records on Monday (12 May).<br/> <br />Sony Music presented the 70 year old singer with 'The Most Successful Latin Artist of All Time' award at a news conference in London.<br/> <br />Although he is one of the best selling artists in the world, has won several awards, Iglesias was humble about his success.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE Julio Iglesias saying (English):<br/> <br />"I think there is many different artists, not only Latinos, who represent music all over the world as much as I do. The only main difference is that I am 70 years old, and I'm thinking for the future."<br/> <br />During an interview with Reuters, he emphasised his undying passion for music.<br/> <br />Iglesias is scheduled to perform in England, Ireland, America and Mexico in May.
