Officials in Georgia hope a visit by French Presiden Francois Hollande to the country will help its chances of joining NATO.<br /><br />Hundreds of Georgian troops have already fought alongside NATO troops in Afghanistan and its leaders want membership of the military alliance in return.<br /><br />US President Barack Obama has said there are no plans for Georgia, which fought a war with Russia in 2008, to join the organisation.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Robin Forestier-Walker reports from Tbilsi
