ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION).<br/> <br />STORY: The Delta IV rocket blasts off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, carrying a GPS satellite for the U.S. Air Force.<br/> <br />The launch took place promptly at 20:03EDT (00:03GMT) on Friday (May 16).<br/> <br />According to the United Launch Alliance (ULA), the Delta IV mission is carrying "one of the next-generation GPS satellites, incorporating various improvements to provide greater accuracy," for the U.S. Air Force, the ULA posted on its website.<br/> <br />It's the fifth launch for the United Launch Alliance in 2014.<br/> <br />Friday's launch marks the 26th flight for launch vehicle Delta IV .
