A joint operation of Water Board and police at Banaras area of Karachi resulted in cutting of illegal connections. <br />The staff of water and sewerage board also demolished illegal pumping stations also with the cooperation of the local police. <br />The officials also acted in the surroundings of the colony and raided against the illegal connections. A heavy machinery was used in the operation. Moreover, At least two pumps that were extracting water from Water Board’s main line were also demolished.
