This April, several hundred Jenisch travellers set up a protest camp in Bern to campaign for more camping locations in Switzerland. <br />As the city needed the plot of land for parking at a major agricultural exhibition, the police cleared the plot and relocated the Jenisch to a place just outside of Bern. <br />The Jenisch were upset what they saw as rough handling by the city and brought the issue to the attention of the media and the public. <br />(SRF/swissinfo.ch)
