Mutant superheroes have smashed into North American theaters this weekend.<br /> <br />"X-Men: Days of Future Past" takes the top spot on the box office charts this week, pulling in $90.7 million in ticket sales.<br /> <br />Things heat up when Hugh Jackman's sharp-clawed Wolverine travels back in time and is drawn into battle with shape-shifting Mystique, played by Jennifer Lawrence.<br /> <br />The mighty Godzilla has dropped to second place with $31.4 million in ticket sales over the weekend.<br /> <br />Even with huge competition, the film is holding strong.<br /> <br />Through Monday, Rentrak says, it will have pulled in just under $160 million in the North American market.<br /> <br />The romantic comedy "Blended" didn't quite get the lion's share.
