Reportedly, the German auto giant, BMW Motorrad, launched its S1000R street-naked bike in India for a starting price of Rs. 22.83 lakhs ex-showroom, Mumbai. On the crease, BMW S1000R is basically a stripped-off version of its S1000RR which delivers 33bhp less than the faired sibling to cope up the segmental aerodynamics, from that same 999cc liquid in-line four-cylinder engine. Overall styling is inspired from its race version, the S1000RR, remains unchanged, except for the radiator shrouds that replace the fairing, partly covering the engine. <br />Rolled out with three colours to choose from — red, blue and white, this bike of BMW is expected to hold a nice amount of waiting period, as it will be brought to India in Completely Built Units format. So, lads who want to buy this must keep their checque ready.
