We spent a late morning and full afternoon on Ile des Porqueroles, France in the commune of Hyères on the Côte d'Azur. <br /> <br />For the two of us to go round trip and for him to have a rental bike, it was 50 euros, which doesn't make this a cheap outing, but we liked it. We were advised by the lady we rented our house from for a week in Hyères to take food and drink. I got a few facts wrong here with my prononciation and also the nudist area is on another island, not this one, but I swam Sicilian style and the few people there did not blink. <br /> <br />You can see the sky is a bit grey here but the day was warm/hot in late May, 2014. The boat back to the mainland at 4:30 pm was packed, so this place must be very crowded in high season. <br /> <br />Bennes are trash bins and we enjoyed seeing the ones in Cotignac where we rented a troglodyte house the week before -- they were all pebbly.
