French police have arrested a suspect in connection with last weekend’s Brussels Jewish museum shooting, according to the AFP news agency.<br /><br />The detainee is thought to be the gunman who killed four people at the museum.<br /><br />According to sources close to the investigation, the 29-year-old Frenchman had a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a revolver with ammunition in his possession.<br /><br />The weapons were said to be similar to those used in the attacks. He had a baseball cap similar to the one worn by the gunman last weekend.<br /><br />The suspect has been described as a “jihadist” who is believed to have been in Syria last year with jihadist groups.
