Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge is aiming to win a place in England's European Championship squad after another vital goal against Everton.<br /><br />Sturridge headed in Chelsea's opener in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Toffees - the former Manchester City man's fourth goal in his last four league games.<br /><br />He said: "I want to go to the Euros and it would be great to get selected.<br /><br />"But I'm not worried about the pressure being put on me because I've been working hard doing my thing."<br /><br />The 22-year-old is emerging as a serious contender to fill the void left by Wayne Rooney's suspension for the Euro 2012 group stage.<br /><br />Sturridge has been one of the stars of 2011, shining in a loan spell at Bolton and emerging with credit from England's European Under-21 Championship campaign.<br /><br />And he has now continued that form back at his parent club, despite missing the first three games of the season through suspension<br /><br />England manager Fabio Capello has already indicated that he will use the friendly double-header against Spain and Sweden next month to blood more youngsters.<br /><br />Looking ahead to next summer's finals in Poland and Ukraine, Sturridge said: "Everyone would love to get on the plane, I'm no different.<br /><br />"Hopefully, in the future, it does happen because it would be great for me - it would be a dream come true."
