Chris Brown is a free man.<br/> <br />The Grammy-winning singer was released from a Los Angeles, California jail where he was serving a one-year sentence for violating probation from his 2009 assault of pop singer Rihanna.<br/> <br />The 25-year-old Brown has been locked up since March 14 and earned credited jail time in the probation violation case to shorten his time behind bars.<br/> <br />Brown must also undergo therapy, random drug testing and complete community service as part of his sentence.
