For her latest collection, Donna Karan took inspiration from the place where she was born and became a star: New York City. Structural silhouettes were sharpened with a "punky and futuristic" make-up look by Charlotte Tilbury, with a charcoal lid and metallic grey shading in the inner corner of the eye. Eugene Souleiman worked hair into an accessory, creating a headband of slicked down tendrils, in the style of Charlotte Rampling in Liliana Cavani's The Night Porter. <br />The magnificent flash back of Donna Karan's life and activities was reflected with the top flabbergasting and personality stating Donna Karan fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, showcased during New York Fashion Week. "I was so clear in what I wanted to say," said Donna Karan after the show. "I wanted to show the strength of the woman. I wanted to show that after 30 years I think we stand for something that is absolutely, iconically Donna Karan. I wanted it to be a reflection of the past, and the present coming into the future. I wanted it to be about art, the city, the body, movement, the strength of tailoring, evening."
