Queen debuts new state coach ahead of parliament speech

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II departs Buckingham Palace in her brand new carriage, en route to parliament.<br/> <br />The coach cost £2.7 million British pounds or around four and a half million U.S. dollars and was built especially for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.<br/> <br />The structure also includes almost one thousand years of British history according to the man who designed the carriage, Jim Frecklington.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Jim Frecklington, Diamond Jubilee State Coach designer, saying (English):<br/> <br />"I've been able to find timber from many great buildings, great ships, great aircraft, and also I've been able to incorporate items from many of the great people that have made Britain what it is today."<br/> <br />The coach's crown is made from Lord Nelson's ship, the Victory and wood from landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, and Windsor Castle were shaped into small varnished squares, which decorate the interior walls and door panels.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Jim Frecklington, Diamon
