In Canada, a man suspected of killing three police officers and wounding two others has been detained. <br /><br />Canadian authorities said, Justin Bourque, was arrested in Moncton, New Brunswick on Friday, bringing to an end a massive manhunt which had ran into a second night<br /><br />Schools and government offices were closed and residents were told stay indoors as hundreds of police cordoned off a large area of in the eastern Canadian city of about 70,000 inhabitants. <br /><br />Wednesday’s shooting was one of the worst of its kind in Canada, where gun laws are stricter than in the US and deadly attacks on police are rare.
