Comedic legend Jerry Lewis celebrated the 50th anniversary of his film "The Nutty Professor" at New York's Friars Club.<br/> <br />The 88-year-old showed off his sense of humor as he posed for photographers ahead of the event.<br/> <br />The Nutty Professor 50th Anniversary Collection, which Lewis helped create, is packed with both the history of the film and Lewis.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Jerry Lewis, actor, saying (English):<br/> <br />"There is some funny stuff there. But when you open the box the first thing you'll see are the phony phone calls, being a person. The one book they have in there are all of my notes and all of my sketches that I had prepared for the shooting."<br/> <br />Lewis said everything about making the film was exciting.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Jerry Lewis, actor, saying (English):<br/> <br />"The beginning, the middle and the end. I wouldn't pick out any one thing. It was a love affair with every frame."<br/> <br />The Blu-ray set was released on June 3rd.
