<p>A heavily armed man wearing a bulletproof vest and a gas mask was shot dead on June 6, after attempting to carry out a full frontal assault on the Forsyth County Courthouse in Cumming, Georgia. The suspect, Dennis Marx, was <a class="link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.ajc.com/news/news/police-activity-around-forsyth-courthouse/ngFsZ/" target="_blank">reportedly</a> carrying explosives, an assault rifle, and homemade grenades when he was stopped outside the courthouse by a deputy, who was injured during a shootout with the gunman.</p><p>According to a <a class="link" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.ajc.com/news/news/forsyth-deputy-shot-in-courthouse-assault-may-have/ngFzk/" target="_blank">local news report</a>, Marx was due in court Friday for a hearing on drugs and weapons charges.</p><br /><p>These eye-witness videos, filmed across the street from the courthouse, capture the sound of gunfire and orange smoke rising from the scene.
