Voters in Kosovo go to the polls for parliamentary elections.<br/> <br />Frustration is running high.<br/> <br />Voters are unhappy about rife corruption, mass unemployment and poverty in Kosovo since it declared independence in 2008.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Albanian) SAMILE BYTYCI, PROFESSOR, SAYING:<br/> <br />"If there are changes for sure there will be improvements, but if we continue with the same people I don't see any future."<br/> <br />Former rebel Prime Minister Hashim Thaci is hoping to win his third term in office.<br/> <br />But he is facing a challenge from three other political parties.<br/> <br />The results are expected to be close.<br/> <br />If voters do choose Thaci, he'll not only have to deal with Kosovo's numerous economic issues, he'll also have to face a war crimes investigation that threatens to ensnare many of his former comrades in arms.
