Residents of a Siberian village got quite a surprise on Friday.<br/> <br />Returning home after a forced flood evacuation to survey the damage, they discovered a strange object floating in the water --<br/> <br />What appears to be a Russian space rocket.<br/> <br />Investigators and technical experts were called in to try to identify the object.<br/> <br />Alexei Yaskin is a professor of aero-space engineering at Biisk Technology University.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) ALEXEI YASKIN, PROFESSOR OF DEPARTMENT OF ROCKET ENGINES OF BIISK TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, SAYING:<br/> <br />"This looks like the first stage, judging by its size.
