Big Brother federal politicians want to hide all their stuff, <br />They feel that their constituents already know enough, <br />They are committed to their party line no matter what, <br />So if it’s not in the party agenda it’s not worth a lot. <br /> <br />And the Access To Information Act is a complete farce, <br />Though the information that politicians have is very sparse, <br />No binding referendums or recalls are ever allowed, <br />You can’t change things or vote for a senator so feel proud. <br /> <br />Proportional representation is banned for first-past-the-post, <br />Even though the opposition had more votes to count and boast, <br />This is the reason why less than half Canadians vote, <br />Something wrong with the system while the first-past-the-post gloat. <br /> <br />Dec 24th,2010<br /><br />James Bredin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/access-to-information/
