We laid in a valley turned blue by the stars <br />Caught under the cold breeze and moon light <br />We waited for answers to life’s hardest questions <br />To come to us from the black and season our souls <br />And for wisdoms to flow from our lungs and off our lips <br /> <br />What moves the world around? <br />And you and I within it? <br /> <br />Sharp winds replied with endless whispers <br />As taunting words came from the sky’s black veil <br />Feeling fears of life, death, and decay <br />All whirling through our minds and out our ears <br /> <br />But as the sun’s rays pierced the horizon <br />We felt a soothing warmth gravitate our bodies together <br />Our arms tangled in orange pleasure <br />And we answered with a shared breathe<br /><br />Nicholas Paradis<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/searching-137/
