Scores of rebels from the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) have laid down their weapons in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as part of a voluntary disarmament exercise.<br /><br />The rebels say they want to go back home to Rwanda and negotiate with the government.<br /><br />Some of their leaders are wanted in Rwanda for their alleged involvement in a genocide two decades ago.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Catherine Soi reports from South Kivu, in eastern DRC.
