The Baby blue sky has opened, <br />moving further away are the clouds, <br />black, grey and threatening clouds move from sight, <br />just as white candy floss thick clouds arrive. <br />The mood is calming and the wind blows softly <br />through willow and poplar trees <br />that sway in the breeze... <br />through the country side, <br />through the tall lime green grasses. <br />The mood turns to moments of bliss, <br />that excites and fills one with hope. <br />Hope is the emotion that fills the imagination <br />refueling your dream tank so you can inhale rays <br />of confident expectation that make poets write <br />what they hope to be brilliant poetry... <br />Words that inspire and amaze others <br />all while inspiring and encouraging themselves <br />to do what it takes to make a difference. <br />Poems that remind us that although our moments may be few, <br />going by too quickly, that still we should make each count. <br />Inspiration that causes singers to sing so their audience swoon. <br />Vision that makes wood workers whittle Great masterpieces. <br />The most magnificent of gifts to share with others, <br />one discovers in the end after observing nature and pondering life... <br />is the gift of knowing that God wants to help us! <br />He wants to lead us to higher grounds, <br />if only we would allow him to do just that. <br />He wishes to plant a vision into your life that will nourish <br />and grow you in places you could never dream possible. <br />With that, I ask you to listen to the breeze whisper in your ear... <br />Watch the water fall...F a L L i n g and just open your hearts <br />to the fact that God has many gifts for you <br />to discover and experience if only you would ask...<br /><br />Shelley L Baxter Stanley<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/if-only-you-would-ask-2/
