My mind and heart are in a tug of war <br />My hearts never been stretched like this before <br />My heart is been pulled in two ways <br />I hope it don’t snap and in place it stays <br />While one side pulls follow your heart have faith <br />My brain yells that your time shouldn’t waste <br />Sometimes the doubts yell running in your brain <br />But then the love of the heart pulls it back once again <br />The facts in my head are glaring and pessimistic, <br />While my heart felt hope stays tiny strong but constant <br />This dream points to a loving glowing gem <br />Though others actions remembered in my head just this doubt again <br />So should I hold on believing it’s for the best? <br />Or should I give up act just like the rest? <br />Is it so wrong to hold on wait a little longer? <br />Maybe doing this I will get stronger <br />I guess I should be true listen to my heart <br />So from its place it won’t depart <br />Though logic in my head says it won’t work <br />And that I will only get more hurt <br />So this huge real dilemma is here for me <br />Which wins?
