she saw him last night. <br />for the first time, in a long time. <br />but something just didnt feel right. <br />she could tell that he was upset. <br />but he just wouldnt open up to her. <br />which made her cry and become upset. <br />he just couldnt see that what he was doing to her was killing her. <br />he was murdering her heart with all the hateful words and excuses. <br />he needed to quickly figure out what was wrong and hopefully find a cure. <br />but no one could help, not even a close friend. <br />everything was falling apart in front of her. <br />she could feel her heart mold itself to something and begin to bend. <br />she said goodbye to him like she always does last night. <br />but something still was wrong. <br />she wanted to bring something up but didnt want to fight. <br />she cant figure out what her heart is telling her. <br />should she leave the man she loves so much? <br />or should she stay through the hurt and the pain but still remain secure. <br />she saw him for the first time last night. <br />for the first time in a long time. <br />but maybe last night was the last night?<br /><br />Lynn Garman<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/she-saw-him-last-night/
