Sitting slowly sipping the latte <br />Notebook open, tapping keys, <br />No social outing is this. <br />Business as usual, before on her way <br />Just another multi-tasking day. <br /> <br />Looking around to see <br />What the environment will be <br />Rain and cold wind is <br />What those who outward venture <br />Will face in their morning commute. <br /> <br />The coffee's grown cold <br />A last sip, if she's bold. <br />Cup doesn't last long <br />The cup's been down sized <br />Tight economy, spending wise. <br /> <br />On a table not far away <br />Morning paper's there to stay. <br />Left by the couple going out. <br />Maybe just a glimpse at the World news? <br />Have to get some other views. <br /> <br />But no, another guzzler's got it now, <br />Wouldn't have made a difference anyhow. <br />One final look around, <br />Time to go; there's the iPhone's chime <br />Not a call, just a reminder of the time. <br /> <br />Who would know that she's living in <br />The old car she came here in. <br /> <br />s<br /><br />Sidi J.
