Destinies of spiders - <br />recluses and widows, <br />lives weaved like webs free <br />How did we end up together? <br />Drops of change rain <br />in the puddles of puzzles <br />of pieces of us <br />that morph and grow up <br />to reconstruct pictures <br />of portraits of people <br />in places like home <br />with faces our own <br />like haunted mosaics of memories of us <br />Four ghosts in a house <br />of closed doors and open halls <br />open arms and closed walls <br />walking through each other... <br />instead of talking to each other <br />kindred strangers with the same last name <br />a bond between ghouls <br />close enough to be just out of reach <br />phantom feelings, unable to touch <br />unable to feel... <br />only able to feel <br />like the stiff prey of a spider <br />in a web of woven lives <br />like the ones we live apart together.<br /><br />I write because I have to<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/phantom-spider-webs/
