Wondering where the never ending road goes, <br />while <br />running along the childhood path <br />as i followed the sunrise when it rose. <br /> <br />Always the curious one, wondering through the woods, <br />looking for adventure in my life, <br />as if i had nothing, not even a soul to sacrifice. <br /> <br />Trying to figure my advantages as if they were valuable <br />although in reality, my decisions weren't so tangible. <br /> <br />Always wanting to explore the world as if i lived in a new town, <br />even when when all i saw was a city road town. <br /> <br />Always watching the butterfly go towards the sun <br />wondering and wondering what i would become, <br />like the butterfly, if i could ever <br />watch it's metamorphosis.<br /><br />Katellyne Baker<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-childhood-peices/
