Searching for the truth could literally be like <br />Trying to find that needle in a haystack <br />The truth is the needle <br />First, it starts with the blessing <br />With the blessing comes the Grace <br />With the Grace comes the Wisdom <br />With the Wisdom comes the Patience <br />With the Patience comes the Perseverance <br />With Perseverance comes the filtering <br />And then you start to filter <br />And start to realize that... <br />All that glitters is not gold <br />That it looks like the truth but it is not the truth <br />That it behaves like the truth but is not the truth <br />That it smells like the truth but is not the truth <br />That it taste like the truth but it is not the truth <br />What else can I say? <br />What the eyes sees is easy to accept <br />But do we accept without question? <br />How so foolish! <br />But its what the eyes can't see that makes all the difference <br />Because hidden in that haystack is the truth <br />So when poets see the future without a crystal glass <br />Or cries in the wilderness... <br />That's where the true knowledge resides <br />And you stay on course, and ride the storm <br />Because you seek the truth <br />Because the haystack will try to dissuade you from searching for the truth <br />The haystack will dissuade you from reaching for the truth <br />Because the truth brings light to darkness <br />Because the truth shames a liar <br />Because the truth will set you free <br />Because to search for the truth is not for the faint of heart <br />Its beyond a 9 to 5 <br />Its as sweaty as they come <br />Its as bruising as they come <br />The needle is still in the haystack <br />The truth is out there <br />The haystack is all that element that clouds the truth <br />All the darkness for which the truth must permeate from <br />All the gate keepers to the truth for which none has yet to profess the truth <br />To search for the truth, is to <br />Search for the needle in a haystack<br /><br />David Beckham<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/searching-for-the-truth/
