Oh! Great Father who lives on yonder mountain high. <br />He who walk among the living in-which their eyes can not see <br />Who speaks through the whispering wind and trees. <br /> <br />You have summon me here to the valley. <br />The valley that once was the home of my father and his <br />father before him. <br /> <br />Gone are the mighty herds of buffaloes that once roam the great <br />plains. <br />I can hunt no more. <br />No longer can I lie down in green pastures like my father once did. <br /> <br /> <br />The mighty river that snake it's way throw the valley <br />For the sweet water that once gave life to all living thing, <br />Has been filed by the hands of mankind. <br /> <br />Why did you let them lock us in pens called reservation like they do their cattle. <br /> <br />Oh! Great Father who lives on yonder mountain high. <br />We can not grow and prosper. <br />Nor hope for better days through better ways. <br />When we are denied the dignity that once was our. <br /> <br />Oh!
