My brother is a wonderful person, <br />He gives me advice that no one else could, <br />When my friends didnt understand or care, <br />He was always there, <br />He would sit there and just listen, <br />While I spilled all my secrets to him, <br />He never told anyone what I said, <br />Because it was part of our great bond, <br />He never let me get hurt, <br />If he could help it, <br />He doesnt approve of my poetry, <br />But he still supports me, <br />In everything I do he tries to lend a helping hand, <br />Sometimes I think he knows me better than myself, <br />But I hope I never cease to surprise him, <br />I hope I can learn more about my brothers life, <br />If he chooses to tell me, <br />Although I suppose he still sometimes thinks of me as an annoying little sister, <br />But nevertheless we get through the days with each other, <br />And always seem to have a great time doing so.<br /><br />Kathryn Miller<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/brother-6/
