Many perceive teachers, <br />To be magicians with wands. <br />And a child with no ambition, <br />Will suddenly become disciplined enough... <br />To enjoy the process of learning, <br />To eventually become wise. <br />Like the getting of good grades, <br />Teaches one how to survive. <br /> <br />Some parents believe schools, <br />Are created for this. <br />With no encouragement at all, <br />From them do their children get. <br />Afterall... <br />Few are taught that thinking, <br />Is an investment made. <br /> <br />And no one can fault those who assume. <br />Many who pay high tuition rates, <br />Assume after one graduates... <br />With a degree in hand, <br />They can declare themselves intelligent. <br />As if a payment for common sense, <br />Also applies. <br /> <br />'No! <br />The other end of the broom, <br />Is used for the sweeping of the floors. <br />Your abilities look excellent on paper. <br />Are you 'sure' they are yours?
