Night without darkness, <br />Is doing the same as, <br />Day without sunlight, <br />Both light and darkness, <br /> <br />Need each other, <br />To guarantee the cycle of life, <br />Day and night, summer and winter, <br />Draw together the years of anxiety and grief. <br /> <br />Along the road of darkness, <br />Time is paved with experience, <br />Encounter frustration, hurt and lost, <br />Love grows with the help of grace. <br /> <br />When in darkness, <br />Dreams follow life's embrace, <br />In the fertile seed of rest, <br />The mind takes healthy shapes. <br /> <br />When in darkness, <br />Don't look at heights or size, <br />Treat the imposers as a natural guest, <br />Listen to the stillness and be wise. <br /> <br />When in darkness, <br />Be confident in all matter, <br />The same thing that produce darkness, <br />Will eventually become clearer. <br /> <br />Hold to unchanging hope, <br />And rise from obscurity, <br />To tread the slippery slope, <br />And find your own security.<br /><br />Gerry Legister<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/when-in-darkness/
