Before the dawn, the fairy, Frost, flies free <br />Amongst the dewy grassblades on the lawn. <br />She drapes her feathers on each branch and tree <br />Before the dawn. <br /> <br />As if she were to rule an empire born, <br />White as the bloom upon the cherry, she <br />Drifts over gardens with a haughty scorn. <br /> <br />With angel wings she flits, just like Queen Bee, <br />But, as the blackness of the night is torn <br />To shreds by sunlight, Fairy Frost must flee <br />Before the dawn.<br /><br />C Richard Miles<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fairy-frost/
