There’s no falsehood <br />In her unrelenting beauty <br />Never a night sky more clear <br />Than her eyes <br />Never a bird’s song more beautiful <br />Than her voice <br />Or an angel choir loud enough <br />To drown out the beat of my heart <br /> <br />She’s a cosmic investment <br />I cant warn the stars about <br />A mortal Zeus <br />With Aphrodite’s gifts <br />A seductress in the flesh <br />From head to toe <br />She’ll build you up <br />And help your soul collapse <br /> <br />She feeds my hunger <br />With chemical kisses <br />Lethal sin <br />She’s a human tonic <br />And when she least expects it <br />I’ll give her Hell’s fire <br />For all her trouble <br /> <br />It’ll be sweet <br />Exquisite and slow <br />Like the hard drinks that flow <br />Down our throats <br />Like ripe stalks <br />Swaying in the wind <br />Waiting for the right moment <br />To harvest <br /> <br />It’ll be our game <br />On a make shift dance floor <br />She has an air of sex <br />And a look of lust <br />That would cloud <br />Even the wisest man’s judgment <br />And I can imagine how I’d look <br />Like a wolf <br />In the old cartoons <br /> <br />And that’s alright with me <br />Because the feeling she generates <br />feels like a primal beast <br />Caged in my chest <br /> <br />So when I see that Portuguese delicacy <br />I’ll sync my lips to hers <br />And feed her fire<br /><br />Alejandro Torres<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/woman-2/
