Bright was the crack that brought her awake <br />it was loud getting up with a yawn <br />grunting in sleep he slept on <br />not to far back into the face of time <br />exiting the cave into the warm rain <br />rubbing her hands the long length of the limb <br />exept not there where it was hot and shed light <br />she discovered old paintings and drawings <br />which of the like but knowing naught of <br />getting up with a grunt and gutteral as well <br />the message quite clear <br />putting out the new fire, 'why she ask <br />our Enemies across the valley the walls <br />they might see <br />and with that the light was again extinguished <br />for a thousand years.<br /><br />Is It Poetry<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-woman-finds-fire/
