The only way to love, <br />Is through love. <br />You must seek love, <br />Then you will find love, <br />Eventually to become love. <br />The stairway to heaven, <br />Is at the end of the highway to hell. <br />For it not easy. <br />It is not love that hurts, <br />It is becoming love that hurts. <br />Our idea of love, is not love, <br />But want. <br />The cross is the example. <br />The man was the lesson. <br />The act was the proof. <br />Follow the example, <br />Learn the lesson, <br />Witness the proof. <br />Love of this is earth, <br />Is anything but truth. <br />There are no short cuts. <br />Or you will cut yourself short. <br />For the man on the cross, <br />Became true love in the final moment, <br />When it was done. <br />For when it is done, <br />You will find it. <br />And realize it always was there. <br />Inside the man, <br />Waiting to be awoken. <br />Arise and shine!<br /><br />Ryan Lee Morris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/arise-shine/
