I love Him, because He loves me <br />Showing selfless He cares <br />God saved my soul gave eyes to see <br />The fruit salvation shares <br /> <br />I love God’s Son with heart and soul <br />In spirit through and through <br />For guiding me towards the goal <br />No flesh and bone can view <br /> <br />Because of Jesus’ sinless blood <br />Because I have believed <br />I’ve learned to walk The Way I should <br />Because of grace received <br /> <br />Because He heard my sinful cry <br />Because His mercy’s real <br />Because He chose for me to die <br />And place on me His Seal <br /> <br />He sees my thoughts my inner being <br />The road once sought and trod <br />But quickly turned when seeing <br />Jesus is truly God <br /> <br />I love Him for The Truth revealed <br />The facts of life made known <br />Allowing me my soul to yield <br />The Lamb on Heaven’s throne <br /> <br />Forgiven, loved, by grace approved <br />Each day’s blessed thrill <br />How can my soul now not be moved? <br />How can my tongue be still? <br /> <br />I want to live and come alive <br />My former life to flee <br />To walk to grow to always thrive <br />In He who set me free<br /><br />Michael P.
