In the worst of days <br />I make for me <br />A make-believe mood! <br /> <br />When within a storm rages <br />The heart is laden with charcoal tar <br />One by one I fill up the pages <br />That twinkle in make-believe’s borrowed star! <br /> <br />What magic can do a changed hair style <br />When I walk the darkest mile <br />It shows in the mirror a new look me <br />Contented to be make-believe happy! <br /> <br />A make-believe man not let the world know <br />All the pains inside morale low <br />Even once show not entrails crude <br />But spread in air make-believe mood! <br /> <br />In make-believe cheers when I hum a tune <br />It blunts the agony makes me feel immune <br />Miraculously comes back a feel real good <br />Saves the worst of days the make-believe mood!<br /><br />Pradip Chattopadhyay<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/make-believe-mood/
