Their colors now spent <br />As autumn takes its tole <br />Trees once majestic <br />Are changing with fall <br /> <br />A nature walk shows <br />Once trees strong and tall <br />Limbs are now broken <br />And ready to fall <br /> <br />We put on our jackets <br />Gone are shirt sleeves <br />With autumn taking over <br />It’s kinda’ hard to perceive <br /> <br />I breathe in the air <br />It’s earthy to whiff <br />As leaves are drying <br />They turn rather stiff <br /> <br />And as they are drying <br />They tumble to the ground <br />I love walks in nature <br />As those changes are found!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nature-walk/
